The Super-Quadrate is Gabor Palotai Design’s typeface designed for Tekniska Museet, the National Museum of Science and Technology. The typeface is the core of the museum’s graphic identity. The Super-Quadrate looks pierced into its background, and becomes alarmingly communicative with contrasting colors, as white or neon green against black. Mirror text and centrifugal effects are used in several of Gabor Palotai Design’s exhibition posters for the museum. At the signage system, the Super-Quadrate is smaller shaped and tightly set giving it a tactile and intimate shape.
