Signage system for the scandinavian shopping centre company Steen & Ström. Steen & Ström AB works with shopping centre development and the company itself has a long history, but the shopping centre has one that goes all the way back to the ancient time. The ancient market was the official place for entertainment, shopping and meetings.

Shopping centres today is a multifunctional space similar to the ancient market. To illustrate the contrast between the ancient and modern market the silkscreen printed signagesystem has got ancient motives in silver with white graphics on. The function of the signagesystem is to show the way, to create curiosity and to signify the elements of history in our modern way of living.
